Flying BMW at Automechanika 2014

The branded radio controlled flying BMW 1 was the eye catcher of the Automechanika Expo in Frankfurt as it flew majestically through the main entrance hall of the Frankfurter Messe.

Having constructed over 60 different ultralight flying cars of almost every car manufacturer over the past 15 year, the BMW 1 remains in our workshop and can be hired for such marketing promotions at short notice.

The car is an exact 1:1 replica of the original and comes with working front and rear lights. Constructed out of depron (an extremely light weight polyurethane foam) the car is robust with a hard body – and weighs in at a mere 5 kilos (11 lbs) – so perfectly safe to fly over an audience. Once the inner sleeve is filled with helium, the car is weightless and floats in the air. Mini electric motors on the body coupled with an onboard control system then allow our pilots to fly the car freely in the air.

Our hire pool is constantly changing, so contact us to hire this car and other remote controlled ultra light flying objects.
